who is friend's house?

my name is tristin souvannarath and i make music under the alias "friend's house." i began this project in 2017 as an outlet for songs written on the side of another project i'm involved in, t. rexico (now a brighter summer.) while i am the sole producer and performer on the recordings, i perform live with a rotating cast of talented musicians that have included my brother thomas, hovhannes tamrazyan, charlie havenick, ed graveline, mia lin, and miles josten. other than a brighter summer, i also play guitar in the band myveronica, and have recorded with artists like high sunn and katrina weissman.

friend's house currently has three standalone singles, one ep, and one split ep out. i am working hard on my full-length album which will consist of ten songs written from 2023 to 2025, currently slated for release in mid-late 2026.

this project was created originally in my hometown of chula vista, california, but is now based out of the city of angels.
